By proceeding with the booking and making the payment, you acknowledge and agree to the following:

*1. Professional Counselling Service*
The session is a professional counselling service intended to provide guidance, support, perspective and a safe space for self-exploration. The counsellor will use professional knowledge, experience and judgement to determine the approach most appropriate to the concern presented.

*2. No Guaranteed Outcome*
Counselling is a collaborative process, and outcomes vary from person to person. *No specific result, improvement or outcome is guaranteed.* The progress and benefit from counselling depend on several factors, including the individual's circumstances, participation, openness and willingness to work through the concerns discussed.

*3. Professional Discretion*
The counsellor may, based on professional judgement, determine the areas that need to be explored, the approach to be followed, and whether continued counselling, a different form of support or referral to another qualified professional may be appropriate.

*4. Confidentiality*
Information shared during counselling will be treated as confidential, subject to applicable professional and legal requirements and recognised limits to confidentiality. Where necessary, information may be disclosed to protect the client or another person from serious harm, or where disclosure is required or permitted by law.

*5. Payment & Cancellation*
Payment made for a booked session is *non-refundable*.

If you need to change your appointment, you must inform us *at least 24 hours before the scheduled session*. Subject to availability, the appointment may be rescheduled.

Requests made less than 24 hours before the appointment, missed appointments, or failure to attend the scheduled session will ordinarily be treated as a completed booking and *will not be eligible for a refund or rescheduling*.

*6. Appointment Timing*
Please ensure that you select a date and time that you are able to attend without interruption. Once the appointment is confirmed, the selected time is reserved specifically for you.

*7. Scope of Support*
Counselling sessions are not a substitute for emergency, medical, psychiatric or other specialised treatment where such care is required. Where the counsellor considers that another form of professional support would be more appropriate, you may be advised to consult or be referred to the relevant professional.

*8. Acceptance of Terms*
By making the payment and confirming the appointment, you confirm that you have read, understood and agreed to the above terms and conditions.
